• What exactly is CareerSport Fitness Academy?

CareerSport Fitness Academy is a Fitness Education company offering accredited UK fitness qualifications by the leading UK awarding body Active IQ. The certifications are recognised by all member countries of IC REPs (International Confederation of Registers for Exercise Professionals). IC REPs is an international partnership between registration bodies around the world that register exercise professionals. The confederation members are Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, Poland, South Africa, UAE, UK and US. China and Spain will be joining soon. The qualifications we deliver are recognised by all member countries of IC REPs.

• What kind of courses are offered?

We offer REPs accredited entry level courses for those who wish to enter the fitness industry. We also offer Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and Specialist courses for instructors and trainers who are already qualified so they can develop their knowledge further and gain additional qualifications.

• How long has CareerSport Fitness Academy been around for? Where is the company based?

CareerSport has been around since 2007 and is proudly based in the UAE and UK. We also currently have partners in India and Kuwait.

• How long have you been living in Dubai?

I have been living in Dubai for 14 wonderful years.

• When did you get involved in the fitness education industry?

I started my journey in the fitness industry back in 1990 in my home town of Holywood, Northern Ireland.

• What does CareerSport Fitness Academy hope to achieve in the next 5 years?

We aim to expand our core business to become the leading trainer provider in the UAE and the region. We would also like to continue developing further in markets where we have already been delivering courses which includes Kuwait, Oman, Jordan and India.
